Great BBQ place! The BBQ chicken was alright, the pulled pork was pretty good, but the BBQ Turkey and the Ribs were AMAZING!! Best BBQ Turkey I've ever had hands down and I would come back just for the ribs! They have a house red BBQ sauce which is sweet and runny, a house white sauce (seasoned ranch, very good), a clear pepper sauce, and Louisiana style hot sauce which reminded me of Tabasco. The slaw has jalapenos in it which is an interesting touch. Collards were lovely. Buttermilk cornbread comes with each plate and was super thick and tasty. Seating and orders are self-service and it was extremely busy with live music at 7pm on a Saturday night. BBQ plates are between $14-$20 and you can add extra meats for $4 each. Would certainly recommend!

We had BBQ on Wrightsville Beach this evening. Moe’s BBQ - smoked turkey sandwich was juicy and topped with a great slaw. I had Pulled Pork Chili and Mac ‘n Cheese as sides - both were really good. Daughter had a pulled pork sandwich, with sides of jalapeño cornbread and Mac ‘n Cheese. The Mac ‘n Cheese was like homemade baked macaroni. Really good stop, and fun to be a few minutes away from the beach to chill with dinner. Albeit, it was a tad chilly with the breeze off the water. We’ll definitely go back to Moe’s again in the future. I’d give it an eclectic pub feel, indoor and screened-in outdoor seating, and a bear dressed up in the corner. I failed at getting pics of the restaurant though! The food was great and the service was quick and friendly! Oh, and they had a live band!

Great food, warm and friendly service. Chicken fell off the bone and sides of collards and mac & cheese were perfectly cook and sensibly sized. Highly recommended for legit, local barbecue.

This is by far, my favorite BBQ place! My "foodie" friend from CT came down to visit and absolutely loved it too! They have great live music (call for times) and a very casual, famiky style atmosphere. Although portions tend to be small, I still highly recommend!!!

I went there and had a catfish dinner. It was good. I got two sides with cornbread. The baked beans were really good. They were sweet and spicy without being too hot. Potato salad appeared to be from scratch with a lot of colors but kind of had a watery flavor. The cornbread was sweet I thought I tasted hints of jalapeno. It was heated on the flat iron and toasted in butter. Which I like very much. The catfish didn't taste muddy but the breading didn't have much flavor either.
